At Soothe Ocular Spa we concentrate solely on dry eye and blepharitis assessment and treatment. We do not perform sight tests, fit contact lenses or want to sell you spectacles, so you can be confident that your practitioner will be focused on ensuring that you get the best, and most up-to-date, advice specific to your condition.

The initial assessment will consider you holistically. You will tell us about how your eyes feel and how this makes you feel; previous advice you have received and what treatments you have previously tried; how long you have been affected; and we will listen. The condition of your ocular surface, tears, eyelids and eyelashes will be comprehensively examined and, because it is known that lifestyle factors and even diet affect Dry Eye Disease, these will also be considered, before an initial conclusion is reached and a personalised treatment plan is recommended.

At this stage, you will not be abandoned to undergo the rest of your journey alone. You will receive regular requests for feedback to help you, and us, understand what is working for you, and your treatment plan will be amended if necessary.

Before you book an appointment

Do not book with us if you are not prepared to maintain a regular routine at home. We will help you kickstart your recovery journey but you will need to work with us to optimise your results.

Soothe Ocular Spa is not for you if you want a quick-fix solution. Dry Eye is a chronic (long-term) condition that has to be managed, rather than cured, and Soothe will be with you every step of the way.
