This assessment is for you if you have:

• a long history of Dry Eye Disease and/or
• blepharitis problems and have not yet found relief, or
• if you want to go straight to the gold standard of diagnostic testing.

Incorporating every evaluation in our Standard Assessment this examination further includes:

• the measurement of tear film osmolarity (using the laboratory precise ScoutPro) and
• appraisal of inflammatory markers in the tear film.

Please allow up to two hours for this comprehensive assessment, following which you will receive a personalised report and recommended treatment plan.

Email support and follow-up are included for a period of three months and an in-person appointment is included at the end of the first month, to assess the progress you have made and recommend your next steps.

This 75-minute assessment will examine your eyelids, lashes, tears and ocular surface for signs of dry eye disease. Tests include:

• meibography,
• interferometry,
• tear volume analysis,
• non-invasive tear break-up time (NIBUT),
• blink analysis and corneal surface check.

Together with your responses to recognised Dry Eye Disease Questionnaires and your explanations of your symptoms, these objective results will be considered to give you a diagnosis and a recommended treatment plan.

Email follow-up and support are included for a period of three months.

This is a specific follow-up appointment to assess your progress in a particular area and takes up to 45 minutes.

A 45 minute assessment comprising of close-up imaging of the eyelid margins and eyelashes, a recognised dry eye questionnaire and advice, if required.

A half hour online appointment to be used when clients cannot attend the Spa in person. This is not an alternative to a full assessment and no diagnosis can be offered, however, it can be used for general advice or as a useful starting point. Only book these appointments if you are able to be flexible as the appointment time may need to be changed dependent upon in person bookings. A Zoom link will be sent to you after confirmation.

A heat, massage and expression treatment designed to bring immediate relief to dry, gritty, burning, stingy and/or watery eyes.

If your vision is variable, or you have been previously diagnosed with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) or blepharitis this is the treatment for you. Ideal for use with other treatments to make them more effective.

A deep, yet gentle, cleansing and exfoliation treatment to reduce inflammation and redness along the lid margins, that some find a little tickly.

Using a hand-held device similar to an electric toothbrush, bacterial build-up and gritty deposits are removed leaving your eyelids clean and eyes feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Use in combination with an Activa treatment to really kickstart your journey of repair and recovery. Treatments are recommended every 3 months to reduce the likelihood of flare-ups.

Gentler, yet more intensive than Nulids Exfoliation, and more effective at reducing redness and inflammation. A micro-sponge is used to apply an okra-based polysaccharide, softly removing:

Demodex flare-ups can often be eradicated in one gentle treatment, rather than using a 20-day course of harsh tea-tree-based wipes. This treatment is a highly effective solution for managing dry eye and blepharitis, providing you with a natural and convenient way to improve your eye health.

An ideal treatment prior to IrPL, it can also be used every 4-6 months to reduce the likelihood of flare-ups. This treatment includes an eyelid and facial cleanser for you to use at home to further enhance the effects.

A non-invasive, painless, very targeted treatment designed specifically for Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), whereby intense, perfectly calibrated, pulses of light are applied to the lower eyelid area, to stimulate the nerves attached to the meibomian glands. As a result: 

• the remaining glands are regenerated,
• inflammation is reduced,
• oil production is stimulated and
• the tear film is stabilised,
• thereby offering relief from dry eyes.

This treatment requires a course of three to four sessions at set intervals with a cumulative effect being expected.  The price quoted is per session. Results typically last for 6 months up to 3 years, depending upon routines followed at home, and this timeframe can be maximised with regular Activa treatments.

Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) is a unique photobiomodulation technology, working at a biological level to generate endogenous heat by stimulating ATP production in cells.  It is completely painless, yet extremely effective at managing a vast range of ocular surface conditions such as Meibomian Gland Dysfunction.
